Millennium Mams’ is a Kolkata based ‘Not For Profit Organisation’ founded in 1993 by two visionaries – Mr. Bishnu Dhanuka and Mr. Sanjay Bhuwania with the sole motive of creating financial awareness and literacy amongst women. The organisation has since multiplied manifold and has touched lives of over 5,000 women giving them an opportunity to build financial acumen. The curriculum imparts financial knowledge through the study of current affairs and business dailies, analysis of balance sheets, AGM participation, tracking of global economic trends and plant visits. Since its inception, several enterprising women have become successful entrepreneurs and long-term investors with robust portfolios.

Mr. Bishnu Dhanuka

Mr. Dhanuka is an accomplished businessman, Committee member of Bharat Chamber of Commerce, a highly successful investor and a passionate teacher. When it comes to investing, he is an ardent follower of Warren Buffett principles that explains his success in this field for over 50 years. As the Chairman of Vivekananda Yoga Kendra (SVYASA, Kolkata), Mr. Dhanuka is passionately spreading the art of fitness-through-yoga and holistic healing in the city of Kolkata and beyond.

As a founder director of Millennium Mams’, Mr. Dhanuka has been invited to address various forums across India on financial literacy and investment principles. These include FLO chapters of Hyderabad, Jaipur, Indore, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Bangalore and Kolkata; YPO Kolkata among several others.

Mr. Sanjay Bhuwania

Mr Sanjay Bhuwania, Co-Founder of Millennium Mams’ is an All India Rank holder in Chartered Accountancy. He practiced from 1988 to 2005. He is currently working at Kotak Mahindra Bank Limited as Senior Executive Director, Regional Head, East, for its Wealth Management Division. He has over 30 years of experience in the field of investments, financial Planning and wealth management managing investments of about $2 billion dollars for clients across the country. The journey with Millennium Mams started when he was only 26 years old, and he believes that disciplined and properly researched equity investments can generate superior compounded inflation-adjusted returns without risk of capital erosion.

Bangalore Chapter

Millennium Mams’ has an active chapter in Bangalore. Mr. Dhanuka conducts sessions and workshops in Bangalore on a regular basis, and our Mams have ongoing lessons with Ms. Bhavna. The Bangalore Chapter is very proactive and joins the Kolkata chapter in outstation visits including our landmark USA trip in 2019. The Bangalore Chapter has had interactive sessions with corporate heads such as Mr. Jaipuria – MD, P. J. Margo Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Maiti – Promoter, SunMobility and Mr. Rostow Ravanan – former Md & CEO, Mindtree. Members of Bangalore Chapter have attended the AGM of Bosch and 3M India and have also done a factory visit of the state of art Titan Factory. Currently, during the Covid-19 crisis, the Bangalore Mams’ are actively participating in all the ongoing speaker sessions and classes which Millennium Mams’ is conducting online.
